LedgerBuddy

Website analytics and cookies

How this public website (ledgerbuddy.com.au) measures visits, and the cookies it uses. Updated 11 October 2026.

Analytics on this website

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics on the public pages of ledgerbuddy.com.au to understand how the website is used: which pages are visited, how visitors arrived (for example from a search engine), the type of device and browser, an approximate location derived from the IP address, and actions such as registering for the pilot, submitting an application or selecting an App Store or Xero sign-up link. We don’t send form contents, such as your name, email or phone number, to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) to tell visits apart; by default they last up to two years. Google processes this information, including in the United States, under its own privacy policy. How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Where analytics is not used

Analytics runs only on the public website. It is not loaded in the LedgerBuddy app (app.ledgerbuddy.com.au), on the client upload pages your practice sends to clients, or in LedgerBuddy for iPhone.

Cookies we set ourselves

The pilot registration form sets one security cookie for up to two hours to stop forged submissions. The LedgerBuddy app uses essential sign-in cookies for practice users. Neither is used for analytics.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website works without analytics cookies.
